cl. 'Daniel Deronda'
Raised by Charles Noble, 1882. A strong growing plant with very large 18-20cm (7-8in) wide semi-double or single flowers in early summer and smaller single flowers mid to late summer, produced in good numbers. A free flowering, good value plant. The flowers have tepals which fade gradually from the deep purple blue with plummy highlights at opening to a purple blue, with creamy yellow anthers. A pleasing flower. Ideal for container culture. Produces the most attractive seed heads of any clematis. RHS Award of Garden Merit. |

cl. 'Diamantina™ Evipo039(N)'
An Evison/Poulsen® cultivar introduced 2010.
An exceptional free and long-flowering compact cultivar, this double clematis far outperforms any other double clematis currently available. It has many flowers per stem and has good foliage. The blue-purple flowers are very full, and pom-pom like due to their fully double habit. Each flower will last up to 4 weeks. The flowers are approximately 10-15cm (4-6 inches) in size.
It is ideal for growing in containers for the smaller garden, but it also looks outstanding with variegated wall trained shrubs or grey foliaged shrubs.
This is available as a premium Raymond Evison Clematis and further information, cultural guides and stockists can be found at our clematis store, www.raymondevisonclematis.com. |

cl. 'Dorothy Walton' (syn cl. 'Bagatelle')
Raised in France before 1930. An extremely free flowering plant with star-like flowers. The very pointed, mauve-pink tepals have a hint of blue-mauve, the strongest colours being along the edge of the tepal and on the central bar. Coffee coloured anthers. A striking plant when in full flower. Due to its free flowering nature, it is ideal to use as a container plant, giving useful late summer colour to a patio. |

cl. 'Duchess of Edinburgh'
Raised by Jackmans before 1876. An old classical clematis and the best double white until the introduction of cl. 'Arctic Queen' Evitwo(N). By comparison, it is shy flowering. It was described by Moore & Jackman as having a scent to fill a room, though in fact it is only slightly scented. It retains its foliage much later than most large-flowered clematis. The fully double flowers (on old or new growth) have several rows of green outer tepals and occasionally, the flower can be fully green in the early summer. It has white creamy anthers. The early flowers are 12cm (5in) in diameter, the later flowers smaller. Suitable as a cut flower. |

cl. 'Durandii'
An early deciduous cultivar raised in France by Durand Freres in 1874 using c. integrifolia and c. Jackmanii as the parents. It has simple lanceolate leaves and a non-clinging habit, making it a useful plant for scrambling around with other perennials or groundcover plants. The semi-nodding, flat, open indigo-blue flowers are 8-10cm across, with cream anthers and white filaments which are blue at the base. The 4-6 tepals are deeply ribbed, becoming pointed at the tips. The reverse of each tepal is a deep mid-blue. |
