Flowers open lantern shaped, 6-8 cm across nodding 1-3 together on 15 – 20 cm stalks. Tepals 4, bright yellow, c. 4cm long, becoming spreading, fleshy, somewhat waxy, shiny, pointed, recurved at the tip and margin. Filament red-brown; anthers beige. Fruit heads persistent. Deciduous climber with stems 3-8 cm. Leaves bright green, pinnate with 7-9 leaflets. Leaflets ternate, toothed. |
